The things you should bring with you!
• Tent, if you need one;
• All the things to sleep comfortable – sleeping bag, mattress, pillow etc. (if you are sleeping in a tent)
• Personal towel and hygienic stuff like shower gel, toothpaste, etc.;
• Some warm clothes, raincoat and anti insects sprays (we can’t be sure about the weather);
• Medicines if needed;
• Take your swimsuit, if you are planning to swim (there is a lake not far from the camp place);
• Do not forget a student card, if you have one, it can help you to access some museums or excursions with discounts;
• Bring good mood, so we can fill the camp with positive energy;

Every year youth temperance organisations come together in an organised summer camp. Each year the camp is held in another country. In 2009 it was in Albania, 2010 in Norway and 2011 it will be in Latvia. During the camp participants will participate in workshops and seminars. They will also play sports and enjoy excursions and free time as well. The main aim of the camp and the participant organisations is to popularize healthy lifestyle, free from alcohol and drugs.

In a far, far land begun the organization of organizations called Egtyf, after ages this beast evolved into ACTIVE. This mighty, intelligent, lovely and democratic creature has been seen in every country.

In year 2011 this animal is looking to Latvia. Legend tells that if a creature is looking at a country, the country has to make a camp for THE „ACTIVE” here to come. And for the creatures positive characteristics not to fade, the Latvian youth not only have to feed him with their positive emotions, but also with funny games, laughing, new ideas, energetic dancing and everything else what a youngster can think off.

As the holders of Latvia’s jungle, we have this honor to prepare the fulfillment of the legend, but we can’t do it by our own, so on this day, when the birds are singing love songs, the little mouse comes out from its forest cave and sees a bit blinding sunlight, we are inviting YOU to the ACTIVE feeding in our ACTIVE camp „Route”.
